The monument of the Po\u017eega \u201cHawk\u201d (\u201eSokol\u201d) was made by \u0110uro Ki\u0161, and in 1893 it was placed directly in front of the church portal. To its current position it was placed after World War II and until this day it reminds the citizens of Po\u017eega of their hero, who led his people in the crucial battle against the Turks in 1688.
